The next step is to ensure that the fridge is not connected to the electric power source and then select the part of the door where you want to position the beer tap. You will also need to make sure that the hole will not pass through a vital part of the refrigerator and that the keg and carbon dioxide cylinder are not inside the appliance when you drill the hole that will be utilized for the faucet shank.

After creating the hole for the shank of the beer tap, do not forget to remove all of the debris that resulted from the drilling. Check to hole to make sure that essential components of the refrigerator have not been harmed. The next step is to clean the various parts of the beer tap, including the beer hose, and make sure that they are sterile. The carbon dioxide hose should also be clean and free from debris that could get into the beer.

After this, it is time to insert the shank of the beer tap through the hole and then secure it by utilizing the provided hardware. The next step is to attach one end of the beer hose to the output coupler or connector of the keg and connect the other end of the hose to the tail piece of the beer tap's shank.

The next step is to connect the carbon dioxide tank but before doing this, you have to ensure that the tank is totally shut off and that the gas regulator is connected properly to the cylinder. Check that the regulator is also totally turned off and that the pressure indicated is zero. Then, you will need to connect the gas hose to the keg and to the regulator. After checking that all connections are secured, it is time to turn on the gas valve and then slowly open the regulator until a pressure of 12 psi is reached. The first mug of beer from the dispenser should not be drunk because it may contain debris and cleaning chemicals.
